the room was clean, with a great shower room newly refurbished. The bar was busy but a good atmosphere.
we had dinner in Platform 3 the restaurant just off the bar. the meal was good quality and plentiful. I a a coeliac and often find it hard to have a choice when eating out but on this occasion I was able to have a choice of 4 mains.
The bar has a good selection of drinks and real ales. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Although it was opposite the train station and next to the line it was quite quiet and didn't disturb us.
the car park wasn't very big (only room for around 12 cars but that was sufficient.
The only down point we could find is that the water in the room was not drinking water but they had left 2 bottles of water for us to use.
