Issues to be considered - Room 9 twin
- Faces road & double glazing does not close properly so road noise is constant
- Nice size room with good shower/toilet
The breakfast (for us) was very poor -
- No cold meat, fruit, cheese, bread, offered
- there was cereal, milk, yoghurt, orange juice
- Hot breakfast consisted of tea/coffee, white toast, some jams,
eggs given (no choice) 2 fried eggs swimming in oil (poor),
bacon (ok), sausage (not nice), something resembling black pudding (not nice),
cheap baked beans (ok)
Missing for a Scottish Breakfast was the likes of potato scones, fried tomato, mushrooms.
A real pity as we principally booked this for the 'hot breakfast' expecting better since it's advertised as a Hotel & Italian Restaurant...
We would not use again
