This is an older facility. Refrigerators, elevators, etc are noisy. The TV didn't work. The front desk offered to switch rooms but we were unpacked and tired and chose to stay put. The neighbors in the adject room argued all night. It just wasn't a restful experience.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Kendallville for over 60 days during one of the hardest periods our family has ever faced, and I will never forget the kindness we received here. This hotel became so much more than a place to sleep. In many ways, they saved us.
The manager is genuinely one of the most caring and compassionate people I have ever encountered. He treated us like human beings, not just another room number, and deserves every bit of recognition in the world.
And the housekeeping staff — I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. They put so much love, care, and attention into what they do. Our room was always clean, the details were noticed, and more importantly, we were noticed. They took the time to care about us as people.
When your life feels dark, you remember the people who chose to be a light in it. I love and miss the staff here and will never forget the compassion they showed our family.
Thank you, Comfort Inn Kendallville, for giving us kindness, dignity, comfort, and a safe place when we desperately needed one. You will always hold a very special place in my heart. ❤️
