One word ... roaches. I turned on the lights and they were scattering from my shoes and crawling on the other bed in the room. Not near or at the bottom on the bed, actually on the bed. I had to sleep with the lights on. Trying to get a refund now.

Toilet was broken, bathroom door would not shut, the room smelled like smoke. The entrance door had a large gap on the bottom, we saw many cockroaches. We were on a time crunch because we were in the area for just one night for a big rugby game, I tried to call after we had checked in on our way to the game and they do not answer their phone. We decided we would just have to deal with it later, they did not offer us another room or any fix. Just a refund and I was not refunded the entire amount. I am not sure how to get a full refund because they do not answer their phone. I don't think they should be advertised on here.
I was fully prepared for not the best stay with the price and ratings - and like I said we were in a time cruch so we grabbed the first room we could find. But this was the worst experience I have ever had staying somewhere.

Hotel was horrible. Entry door barely closed, the bathroom door was half ripped from its hinges and would not close. The shower stall had cracks and holes in the plastic and the valve was loose. There were stains on the walls and floors. My brother's room had only one working light and no working outlets. Our friends room was in a similar state of disrepair. This was utterly disappointing, even for a discount hotel. The Motel 6 chain should be embarrassed to have their sign over this property and, frankly, I am shocked it is still within the brand.
