Negatives... ABYSMAL breakfast offering. Poor WiFi - had to move rooms for better reception - staff reluctantly did this after stating there was no rooms left as the hotel was sold out?!? Rubbish left in gardens that was never picked up. The carpets felt grubby and need a deep clean.
Positives...Good looking building, Quiet (mainly because it was empty and noone staying in it)
Overall... Under no circumstances would a repeat booking be made. It promised a lot and delivered very little.

Although several of amenities mentioned on website were missing the room was good our host very amiable and always willing to help in any way

Drove up to the building, and yes a grand building it is.
However, alarm bells rang when the car park was derelict bar a couple of dining chairs and quite a bit of rubbish.
Plastic flowers in the hanging baskets didn't bode well for us personally.
We checked in, all good. Looked about, not a single person to be seen.
Went to our room, the smell was off putting, a musty, damp smell.
As we surveyed the room, there were a couple of chandeliers, bits hanging off, all bulbs out bar one.
Lots of cobwebs, dead fly on the floor....you get my drift.
But the piece de restitance was the mouldy walls.
We were out and en route to a new hotel within ten minutes....
Make your own minds up, hope we saved you some money 🙏
