The problem was not that the room was smaller than promised or that it only had a partial ocean view. Nor that the place and the room was shabby and unclean. The real issue was the unfriendly staff, who did nothing to solve the problems (like a leaking and not cold enough fridge). They did not even apologize. We had booked for three nights at an expensive rate; we left after one night.

The hotel could not find my booking as it had been booked by Expedia with different reference numbers to mine and in my first name only - all this even though I booked

So basically when I arrived I was told I had no reservation luckily the hotel was not full
