This hotel needs some improving. Our first room had a dripping shower, caulking in bad shape, and a smell. We were moved to a different room by a very helpful employee, after being told by the desk person that we could not be moved. The second room was much better. You could tell it had been recently worked on. The location was very convenient to Swope Park where we attended a concert. The outside of this property is in sad shape with a lot of weeds and stumps of bushes that had been cut off. Probably would not recommend,

The computer was down which was not the staffs fault. I drove 8 1/2 hrs to Missouri, spent time with my mother who is ill. Went to the hotel and had to wait in the lobby for over 2 hours before I was able to get a key to the room. The elevator was not working so they were going to have me walk 3 flights of stairs with luggage and food. I asked to have a room on the 2nd floor so it was changed. The most and the only staff member that helped and apologized because of the conditions was Dee. Honestly she was the one bright part of the stay. The sink leaked water on the floor when I used it. Not enough wash cloths in the room, thank goodness I travel with some. There was a water leak from the third floor down to room because the ceiling was still stained and had not been fixed. Again the bright part of the stay was Dee, she kept coming to check on all of us that was waiting to check on 8/21. Because the elevator was broken Dee was carrying luggage up the stairs for us. She is not being enough I am sure. She definitely needs a raise.
