COULDN'T EVEN GET IN THE HOTEL! I always try and be as honest in my reviews as possible, but for this place it is difficult, as I never actually managed to get into the hotel, booked this hotel in July 2025 or 10 months ahead of my trip to Dusseldorf for the Interpak exhibition. The time comes to get into the hotel after an early flight, sat in a local cafe until check in time. I was greated by a keypad and a notice with a phone number, this was the first confusing part as I have no idea how to get in. Thankfully I bumped into a very pleasent guest that informed me I needed a code to get in and suggested I rang the number. So, that is what I did, to be answered by a rude and unhelpful man who simply said "go back to your booking company". So I did, called expedia and was told that the hotel wouldn't answer the phone and had no availability for my booking anymore, basically they had given my rooms to someone else. Excellent, I'm now stood on the street, luggage in hand, with no where to stay. Fortunately, Expedia managed to source another hotel for us fairly promptly, big thanks to them. To wrap it up, if you need to rely on actually having a place to stay when travelling to Dusseldorf, please avoid this place at all costs.

I chose the "pay at property" option on Expedia, but there is no reception desk. When I arrived at the hotel in the early evening, I had no idea how to get into the building as I did not have the passcode for the entrance lock. I had to call a 31 phone number (Netherlands) from my Expedia email, and then one person came but she couldn't speak fluent German and English. It's also not possible to pay by credit card because the hotel says that the machine was broken. So we paid by cash to that personnel while we were unsure whether she was really the hotel staff. Anyway, we later got a receipt via email. All were very confusing...

Get it when desperate
