Bathroom was covered in black mold. Room smelled of mold. We walked into the room, turned around, and immediately left. Don’t stay here.

Room was clean with a good shower. Bed had a comfortable mattress. TV worked well. No noise so it was a restful 2 night stay. Liked the location close to Indiana Dunes and Valparaiso. The only negatives were my wife asked the desk manager for an extra pillow and he said “ We don’t have extra pillows.” The breakfast bar is limited but was fine for a quick breakfast. It is an adequate option for a short stay.

Quality Inn Chesterton is ideally located for a visit to Indiana Dunes. The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the Indiana Dines visitor center and 15 minutes from West Beach. What really stood out during my 2 night stay was the friendly and helpful staff.
