Check in was good. Room was ok, but bathroom very tired & I had to clean some tiles near the toilet that were dirty. Couldn’t fill kettle directly from sink, as kettle to big. No decaf tea or coffee offered. Blind in room broken. View from window was old “ pub rubbish”
We were expecting a breakfast but only given a bag, left outside our door with a croissant, juice, cereal bar & apple.

The website still refers to the availability of a cooked breakfast. However, we were given a "continental" breakfast that was left outside our room overnight, which proved to be wholly insubstantial and disappointing.
The bathroom was not properly cleaned and, given the build up of limescale around the base of the shower, it had been a while since it had been.
That apart, the room was comfortable enough.

Perfect hotel for the night. Excellent restaurant.
Manager and staff very helpful.
Breakfast way very basic, way below the quality they provided at dinner. Furthermore, at 8:30 there was no fruit left nor cold cuts.
