Motel 6 was affordable, convenient, clean and safe. The room was small but comfortable, and I had control over the climate with options to open a window or use the HVAC. I appreciate being able to park my vehicle right outside of my room. Staff were helpful and I felt welcome and valued as a customer. Instructions and policies were clear and well communicated. I am grateful that this economical option was available, making it possible for me to travel with my family member as they sought care at a nearby medical facility.

We requested our rooms to be connected, when I called they said they would beable to get connected rooms. The one room the room had as connected room and that door wouldn’t close all the way,and when I asked if we could move to that room and they said no. The other room we had there was dog food on the floor and that was also supposed to be a connected room and we were still not beable to have connected rooms

Came to check in- had reservation for 3pm.
Wasn’t able to get there until 6 pm. There was no room ready. He sent the staff to clean our room first- but yelled at her in front of us.
Then told us it would be 5 min (which it’s not possible to clean that room in 5 min.) Came back about 1 hour later- room still not ready he said it will still be another hour at least.
Told him I wanted to cancel our reservation since we were exhausted and already ready for bed!
He said there was nothing he could do and I had to call the booking site. I get that. I tried that- they told me to talk it over with the hotel. This was the worst experience. In the end I left and got a room somewhere else. Sadly in the end I decided the fight was going to take longer than actually just going to find somewhere else that also treats staff better as well as guests.
