We stayed for 2 nights 27/28th August along with my sister and her husband whilst we were visiting relatives in the area. We had a very enjoyable stay, the hotel was spotless and all the staff were super helpful and attentive. Breakfast was amazing and the full english was tasty and good produce, which was included in the price. We dined in the restaurant on one of our nights stay and the food was very good and service perfect. The outside seating area was also a nice place to sit and chat. We had booked a double room, which we did find a little small but it was very clean and had everything we wanted and for our 2 nights stay wasn't a problem. We would definitely stay again but request a king bed and larger room.

For us good location The word Cosy in the description means small. What surprised me was when I was booking that there appeared plenty of rooms, If this was correct I am surprised that we were not upgraded. My logic is surely you want to encourage us to come back. Unfortunately we had the bins one side and the car park the other. It’s clean but we did have to remove the air freshener as it over power your senses. We stayed here two years ago. We remembered the breakfast. Still good value. Unfortunately our memory might be fading as I thought the portions were bigger last time. But that’s happened almost every where we have stayed.

The Hopping Hare is a gem! We were attending a festival and had to arrive early to check in. We couldn’t have our room but our luggage was taken care of and waiting for us in our room for when we arrived well after midnight. From check in to check out, our 4 day experience was faultless and consistent. All the staff we met during our stay were friendly and helpful, however a special mention must go to Sarah. She was there from the start by checking us in, at breakfast and the end by checking us out. She never seemed to leave!! Her attention, friendliness and professionalism was wonderful, a perfect host. Thank you ☺️
