I stay here because it’s one of the most reasonable hotels in London. But I think a little more could be done such as hoovering the rooms before guests arrive and a little maintenance in the bathroom. Luckily I like this hotel.

Horrible place. I left without staying a night. Room wasn’t cleaned and probably hadn’t been for months. There was some sketchy white power on the floor and mat. There was a thick layer of dust on the TV and closet. The mattress had sketchy stains all over it. On top of that, the room was over all run down as well as there had been some real bad homemade electrical work done to the TV.
The receptionist showed me two other rooms which were a bit cleaner but still in horrible shape. He offered me an upgrade to a suite for ”just 40£” as well, but that room was just as bad.
This place should be shut down. DO NOT EVER STAY HERE!!

We read the reviews so expected the worst but all in all this place was OK.
The location is amazing, the staff were helpful, and the price for a city hotel was great. We could walk to the theatre, british museum, and all the sites from here. We had a 4 person room with ensuite at the top of the hotel. It was reasonably clean and the bathroom was great.
The only real issue we had was it was so hot at the top of the hotel (during a UK heatwave) with just one tiny fan to try and cool things down and a tiny window that could only open slightly. We all slept with no covers.
