We booked a king size room.
Upon arrival we had to double check it was a king size as it was a small room. Not much floor space so very cramped if you have suitcase. Bed was the most uncomfortable we have ever slept on. We reported this and was offered to have the room changed. Got a new room, room was a considerably bigger but bathroom was tiny. If ur a large person you will not fit in that shower cubicle. Felt claustrophobic, bed still uncomfortable so we slept on the duvet. AC did not work. Neither did the tv.
And something which no one tells you about is the sound of the underground rumbling every mins. U get used to it but it’s loud.
Location wise perfect location next to Paddington station.

I stayed in the basement floor and you can feel the vibrations from the train station, but thankfully it wasn't loud and would be great for those who cant sleep without a little background noise.
This was a perfect location- a few blocks from the Paddington station and walking distance from the park. I walked through the park to Buckingham Palace and it was about 45min walk (all flat and very peaceful).
The staff were so kind. The woman at the front desk was amazing and helped me with some questions.

The staff are excellent, it’s a 5 min walk from Paddington station. Room was a very small double but well equipped.
