Hey there, this place was a surprise -- in a good way. I wrapped some business and decided to spend the night here to catch a bit of skiing at White Pass the next day. This hotel is about the closest to White Pass you can get. One thing I would recommend to travelers is to ask to front desk for an extra blanket for each bed. I sleep pretty warm, but woke cold at 3 am -- and luckily was able to steal the covers from the extra bed.

We've stayed here several times on snowboarding trips to White Pass Ski Area. Always quiet, clean and comfortable.

Two night stay for a couple in the area for some winter skiing. Approx. twenty minutes from White Pass, which is about as good as you can get on that side of the mountain without staying at the ski area itself. We'd stay here again.
The lodge has basic motel-style rooms, as well as cabins. We got a basic room. Nothing fancy, more or less what you'd expect: bed, TV, fridge/coffeemaker/microwave, good wi-fi, shower/tub. Comfortable, very clean, staff were friendly (though we didn't interact with them very much nor utilize the maid service).
The business area of Packwood is 5-10 min away and features a grocery store, gas station/garage, great coffee shop, and several restaurants/bars to keep you fed/happy.
