Smoketown in is a quaint little privately owned hotel that borders on bed-and-breakfast style. Get a real key to lock your door and your host is there and engages you in conversation when they see you. The rooms are old-fashioned with floral bedspreads, outdated bathroom fixtures, but everything was clean, well maintained and comfortable. (Great water pressure!) There is a refrigerator in your room and a community microwave in the breakfast area. There are no coffee makers in your room but starting at 7:30 in the morning there is coffee served along with some small pastries and yogurt in the breakfast area. There is a nice living room area where you can relax, play games or just enjoy some quiet time plus beautiful outdoor seating areas with wrought-iron tables in the gardens. It is not on the main road, but super close just minutes from all the popular tourist areas.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

The property was lively and inviting. Kim walked me to our room which was the Creekview Suite. The room was beautiful.there was a slight musty smell upon entering. When we went to climb into bed, i noticed a smell as though the sheets had been left in the washer too long. When we went to take showers the next morning, the water in both the tub and separate shower was not even lukewarm
I reported both as we left for the day. Upon our return, it appeared the sheets had been rewashed; however, there was still a slight odor to them. Also we had hot water.
