Terrible on every level.the staff were horrendous they had me in tesrs
The room was unobtainable.my husband couldnt manage it.the stair flight was impossible.
Other guests were complaining
The hotel was so faded and sad
Chairs with slashed seats.
The hotel was in a fabulous location pity about the grouchy receptionist who threw the room keys at me

My second stay at Yelfs. As always the staff were friendly and helpful. This time I was staying in the annex across the road. This is less appealing than the main hotel. The rooms are very clean and the shower was hot with good water pressure. The rooms, especially across the road are basic, dated and shabby in places. The mattress really could do with being replaced and the room smelt a bit off putting. However, for the price it’s a decent place to spend the night in an old fashioned hotel set up. I will stay again, not luxury but clean and with good people working there.

Disgusting bed. Someone had been sick over the edge of the bed, probably many years ago.
It was on the valance and the bed base. If I had seen it on the first night I could not have slept in that bed.
