Welcome to beautiful southwest Escondido, CA. Our gate secured property is a countryside oasis; though we are close to everything (shopping, dining, attractions), you will feel like you are far away in a tranquil and relaxed setting.

Enjoy coffee or wine on your private patio, or sit next to the shared fountain and read a book. Listen to the birds sing and keep an open eye—you may even see some local wildlife while you are here. Pick fresh oranges from our trees for your morning juice and take in the beauty of our Southern California flora.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the apartment via a separate entry, as well as the adjoining covered patio area which includes a gas grill.
Please note that though there is a pool area (pool, spa, deck) adjacent to the apartment, this area is off-limits to guests as it is for residents’ private use only.
This property is NOT suitable for children, due to the proximity of the pool.
Other things to note
This is a quiet and peaceful property and we love to share it with others. Please keep in mind that we live here, so quiet hours are between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am. We live in the house above the apartment; we will do our best to keep noise down and ask that you do the same. We share a ceiling/floor, so minor noises are a possibility.
There is another guest house on our property, so you may see others in passing.
We have two dogs of our own, one of whom does not like other dogs. Therefore, we have a no pet policy. (In addition, coyotes and bobcats sometimes enter the property and we don’t want anyone’s beloved pet being put in peril.)
We have chickens on the property, including a rooster. If your windows are open, you may hear him crowing. If you are light sleepers, it’s best to keep the windows closed.
