The space
This is the upper unit of an 1910s duplex that has been tastefully updated to ensure you feel right at home! Smart TV, fast WiFi, recessed lighting with dimmers in the common areas, and stainless steel kitchen appliances are just some of the highlights. Relax in the cozy living room, gather around the dining table for takeout or meals cooked in the fully stocked kitchen, or retreat to the private bedrooms for a good nights rest.
We have three bedrooms allowing for six people to sleep comfortably. Two of the bedrooms have queen size beds, while the smaller third room has a twin bed with a pullout twin trundle.
The kitchen comes equipped with cookware such as pots/pan, cooking utensils, plates/bowls, silverware, glassware, and coffee mugs. Loose ground coffee, coffee filters, and a coffee machine are provided.
Classic board games are provided for your enjoyment. Smart TV equipped with streaming apps such as Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Amazon Video, Youtube TV (Guest login is required).
Guest access
Enter through a private entrance located on the side of the building using keyless entry. Personal and unique access code will be provided a few days prior to your arrival. We welcome you to make yourself at home and enjoy all the unit has to offer. There is a large balcony on the front of the property to enjoy warm sunny days.
Please note guests will have to walk up 16 steps to reach the upper unit.
One off street parking spot is available off the back alleyway, and labeled by the number 2 (right side). Additional street parking is readily available and free.
Laundry room is located in the unfinished basement. While the laundry area has new washer/dryer, and complimentary supplies, please remember it's an unfinished basement built in 1905. Please use the machines labeled Unit B.
The 2nd floor rear balcony is strictly off limits. Similarly, the backyard patio on the ground level is reserved for guests staying on the lower unit.
Other things to note
This is a duplex that has an upper and lower unit. Each unit is completely private and has separate entrances. The only shared space inside the building is the Laundry room (located in the basement) however there is a washer and dryer designated for each unit with complimentary supplies. Please ensure you are using the machines labeled for Unit 2. To ensure comfort and enjoyment for all guests and nearby neighbors please respect the quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM.
