The space
Guests will be renting an apartment in a 1 story duplex. The front entrance is shared. Just inside the entrance, you'll find a foyer with 2 doors. Henny's Haven is on the left, apartment 1.
Each apartment has its own garage access. The garage is under the house and guests and enter and leave through the garage or the front doors. Garage access is through the kitchen, down the stairs located in the laundry room. Guests will be granted 1 garage remote upon check-in, located in the basket on the dresser by the front door.
The stairs to the garage are a bit steep and have a low ceiling. Please take note and always turn the lights on when entering and exiting.
Accessing the garage:
The garage can be accessed by turning down Doune Street (a street that runs perpendicular to Vintage Ave), and finding a shared and hidden driveway about 3 houses down. This is a residential neighborhood with dog walkers and baby strollers and kids, so please always drive with caution and consideration.
The hidden driveway is shared with 2 other properties and is only one lane. Please be careful when coming and going. Guests will have access to the garage directly under their apartment.
Guest access
As mentioned, Henny's Haven is a private apartment in a home with 2 apartments. The front door is shared. There's a foyer which provides access to the two apartments, which have private doors. The foyer is shared. The front yard and swing-bench are shared. The back parking area is shared, but each apartment has it's own lane, so to speak.
Each apartment has it's own private garage.
Please do not block access in the back of the house in any way, and please park respectfully in the front of the house to allow for two spots.
Other things to note
The property is a duplex, with two parallel apartments. We may have other guests living and working next door, so we ask all guests to be respectful and observe quiet hours and a general modest living regime.
All of our guests are Air Bnb and Vrbo based.
We live in the neighborhood so we're a fast drive or an easy walk away should guests need us.
We provide extra linens and towels. Should guests need anything extra, we're local and very responsive.
