Feel right at home in our clean 2-bedroom apartment located within a large home in a beautiful, quiet, tree-filled neighborhood. Full kitchen and newly updated huge bathroom with jetted spa tub & separate shower. Separate private entrance downstairs. Comfortable beds await. The kitchen is fully equipped w/ gas stove & oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, drip coffee maker, blender, Crockpot, pots, pans, dishes, table for up to 6. Furnished with 2 arm chairs, SmartTV (use your subscriptions & local channels are available) and more.
In our yard, enjoy majestic Ponderosa pine & deciduous trees, large lawn, badminton, tetherball (in warm months), charcoal BBQ grill, and rustic firepit (conditional). Catch a glimpse of friendly deer, squirrels, turkeys, occasional moose, and birds. Great neighborhood for taking walks with nature preserve hills nearby that offer beautiful hiking / biking trails, snowshoeing trails & views. Downtown is only 25 minutes away. Restaurants, grocery store and gas station are within 2 miles. Mt. Spokane for skiing, snowboarding & tubing is only 45 minutes away! Other ski mountains surround our area. Several lakes, including Coeur d'Alene & Liberty Lake, are within 30 - 90 minutes. Nearest trailhead with free parking is only a mile away! The scenic, paved Centennial Trail along the Spokane River is 25 minutes away and great for biking, walking and jogging!
We also provide board games, books, toys, TV and free Wifi. A separate desk area with electrical outlets is provided for business or hobbies.
Treat yourself to a professional therapeutic massage with Gary (licensed 34 years), in his office on site! He specializes in sports massage, deep tissue, and therapeutic massage. He also teaches massage therapy (Please inquire for website info, scheduling, and special guest rates).
Both bedrooms have closets with hangers, mirrors and dressers. Our guests have often commented on the very comfortable beds!
Thorough cleaning is done between reservations. All surfaces and linens are sanitized with Airbnb recommended products and the apartment is thoroughly aired out between guests.
We live in the main part of house and do our best to stay quiet but footsteps above may be heard at times. Although we respect guests' privacy, we also enjoy meeting them.
Coffee, tea, creamer, 1% milk, sugar, butter, peanut butter, jam, spices, oatmeal, syrup, microwave popcorn, oil, vinegar, condiments and other kitchen basics are provided in our guest kitchen.
Fall & winter are beautiful here and we decorate for Christmas! We look forward to welcoming you!
Guest access
Guests can park in our driveway, off the street. To locate after dark, look for the tree in front with lights. Our guest apartment is in the back, through a covered breezeway and gate. Combination lock separate entry door, exterior entrance is down 1 covered flight of stairs. The yard is fenced and has open access near guest entrance. Guests are welcome to park their bikes and sleds behind the gate and out of sight from the street.

Treat yourself to a safe, professional licensed therapeutic massage from Gary! With 34 years of experience he's a master in his field and also an instructor. He specializes in sports massage, deep tissue, and therapeutic massage. He offers a special guest rate and discount for two or more. Please check his availability in advance. His website will be shared upon request.
**IMPORTANT** Please, no pets, parties or events. Occasional guests are welcome to visit respectfully between the hours of 9:00 am and 11:00 pm. No bathing or use of extra beds is permitted for unpaid visitors. Requests for additional overnight guests must have prior approval and payment to us at the current rate for extra guests. If a third bed has been used with only 1-2 guests booked, an extra fee of $20 minimum per night will be added to original guest's reservation with a minimum of 2 nights.
Absolutely NO Smoking or vaping inside! A minimum $500 fine will be charged if this rule is violated. It is permitted outside only, and with the ashtray provided. No illegal drugs or weapons are permitted on our property . Hunting is prohibited.
Spokane offers many monthly events, restaurants, shopping, theaters, clubs, entertainment, etc. Please check out our guide of recommendations for restaurants and other destinations. We also provide weekly local publications for our guests to check out what's happening.
A laundromat is a few miles away. We share our laundry room on occasion for stays over one week. If you have a laundry emergency, we can usually accommodate.
Free Wifi has been recently upgraded and works great most of the time. We have an extender to help with the strength of signal. In this area, Wifi can be weak at times. Let us know if there's an issue during your stay.
