This unique and tranquil getaway has easy access to Fairbanks. Aurora viewing right from the cabin situated on a high ridge above the colder valley of Fairbanks. The pet friendly cabin has a completely fenced in yard. Amenities include: Internet, TV, gas stove, oil heat, and large refrigerator. This is a traditional Alaskan "dry" cabin with no plumbing or running water but we supply water jugs and an outhouse is near the cabin.
We strongly suggest you use a 4 wheel drive vehicle in winter.
The space Located on a high ridge above the Ester Valley our BNB has great views of the mountains to the north. Especially good for viewing the Northern Lights as it is away from the light pollution from Fairbanks. The higher location allows for warmer winter temperatures as the cold air sinks in the valley called inversion. Above the ice fog and air quality issues that occur during coldest weather We also have a wonderfully fenced area for pet romping ! A large storage shed is on site for longer stay use.

Other things to note No parties or events allowed.
Pet owners are responsible for clean pet poop from within the fenced yard. A $10 will be added to your bill if we have to clean the area for you.
No running water or plumbing - we proved water in jugs with spigots and a traditional Alaskan outhouse is next to the cabin.
