The New England music camp is across the lake, free concerts Wednesday Evening and Sundays during the summer season. Colby college is 8 miles north in Waterville.

Other things to note
A working railroad track runs the length of the lake, the track is on the other side of the camp road behind the garage. Most guest hear the train the first time it comes by. It then becomes part of the charm.
