The space
Wifi, cable. The guesthouse is a separate, fully equipped space on the property. It is NOT on the lake. ONE designated parking space is available. Oversized vehicles and RV’s will need to park a short distance away from the property. We sanitize and disinfect the entire place after each guest. Our pillows and mattresses are encased with allergen and dust mite protected linens. You will feel the cleanliness and luxury of a hotel, the comfort of feeling like you are at home all while surrounded by the beauty of nature.

Guest access
Rental includes entire Guest house and guest house deck. ONE designated parking spot in driveway for Airbnb guests. Main house decks, balcony and lawn are NOT included in this listing. THE LAKE ITSELF IS NOT PART OF THE GUEST HOUSE BOOKING. If you are looking to hang out by a lake or lay out this is not the ideal listing for you. NO SUNBATHING, GATHERING or CONGREGATING down by the lake for the following reasons: the privacy of the family living in the main house; the safety of our guests and those residing on the property and to allow for social distancing measures to take place.
***This is a private lake. You cannot rent paddle boards, kayaks, boats or fishing equipment from us or anyone residing on the lake. Only permanent residents who own the boats and have valid permits can operate them.

Please understand that Residing on lake Sherwood increases the amount of bugs, mosquitoes and various wildlife. In Spring and summer the bugs are in swarms. They are attracted to the light and if doors are open you will have dozens of them inside.

Other things to note
Gate code for access will be provided privately to each guest prior to arrival date. Please do not enter the gate prior to check in time or park on the property prior to your check in time.
