The space
Less than 30 minutes from the heart of downtown Raleigh and about 15 from downtown Wake Forest, but feels like you are miles away from it all, secluded and peaceful. Very convenient to multiply local retail outlets, restaurants, recreational lakes & parks, schools, hospitals & clinics, entertainment & sporting venues, airports, etc., etc. set in an extremely private & safe neighborhood.
Guest thermostat controlled heating & air conditioning . A modern fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops & stainless steel appliances (but no dishwasher). Equipped with a garbage disposal & an above the range/oven microwave oven & many small appliances, a dinning area with table & chairs for four, a living room with leather couch & loveseat (with 4 reclining chairs), a new 65" LG hd tv with dvr & direct tv with netflix service, a large office desk with chair & file drawers & free WiFi access included, a cozy bedroom space with full double bed, closet & chest of drawers, a small laundry space with tiny cloths washer & dryer (see picture) for personal items (owner can provide full size service for large capacity loads if needed upon request), & an awesome large 10' x 20' deck with partial lake view. All bed & bath linens & cooking utensils & dinning ware are provided.

Lots of room to spread out! You can use the apartment, its large deck with partial lake view, and the surrounding neighborhood areas. You also have access & use of our private beach & outdoor fireplace & the lake for fishing, boating (no motor boats allowed), swimming, hiking or just relaxing.
This detached above garage apartment is a separate stand alone structure located behind our main house, with its own private secured entrance.
Other things to note
You will have to drive down an unpaved road for about a mile to access this unit & the private lake gated neighborhood (the gate currently remains open so no access gate code is necessary). This road is graded to remain passable to varying degrees, but always drive slowly & cautiously as a precaution.
Please note that after extremely heavy rainfall the lake can & will overflow the City of Raleigh installed concrete spillway, but very rarely is it not passable & even then only temporary until the overflow recedes.
