Adorable & budget friendly MINI studio located inside our garage (detached f/ the house). Perfect for 1-2 guests who recreate & just need a place for the essentials (GNP 45 min) FULL size bed (smaller than a queen), 3/4 bath, mini fridge, keurig, t.v., microwave, all in 100 sq ft! (think compact like a camper-tiny!) Secret community staircase to historic downtown Bigfork is just 1 block away. Enjoy fine dining, live theatre, spirits, shopping, public dock. NOT ideal for working remotely.
The space
This cute mini studio is located inside our shop/garage (detached from the house). This space is NOT ideal for working remotely. The bed is really the only place to sit. It is also VERY tiny, pretty much like a dorm room. Which is why the price is so GREAT for the area. This space is shared- I park in the garage and the suite is IN the garage. Parking is in the alley and entrance access is through the gated backyard. (See Info for Guests) Includes a mini fridge, microwave and a Keurig. Stocked with disposable coffee cups, sugar and coffee pods. Comfy double bed (smaller than a queen!), sleeps one-two. The space is small-think compact like a camper. Which means there isn't a lot of floor space, if you bring a cooler/luggage it will likely need to stay in your car.
The public tennis court is across the street-racquets and balls available upon request.
You’ll be in a prime location and within walking distance to dining, shopping, live professional theatre and so much more!
For our snow bunny guests-Blacktail Ski Resort is 14 miles away and Whitefish Mountain is 32 miles away. Jewel Basin Cross Country ski trail is 8 miles away.
Guest access
Walk, bike or drive in the area. Parking in the downtown area is crowded in the summer time and I typically just walk the two blocks. The grocery store is a 1 1/2 miles away and it’s easier to drive there.
Other things to note
Please note-the suite is located inside our (detached from our house) garage/shop and I park inside the garage which is the "shared" space. It's possible to hear the garage door open and close periodically through out the day. You may also hear tinkering out in the wood shop on occasion. It would only be during daytime hours, as we are not night owls.
