The space
The property is on a large, manicured lot with lots of tropical vegetation, including some fruit trees. There is an extra-large pool deck/pool area (completely fenced in for privacy) with ample seating and lounging furniture as well as an outside shower and barbeque grill. The pool is available year-round and is heated, upon request. We provide several outdoor games for your enjoyment. The living space is a large studio that has three rooms: a living room/bedroom area, a separate full kitchen with full sized stainless appliances, a separate full-sized bathroom, and a walk in closet. Sleeping arrangements include a king sized bed and a pull-out sleeper sofa with a queen mattress. The unit is very quiet inside (impact glass and doors were recently installed). The central AC and paddle fans keep the unit very comfortable. There is a detached laundry room with a half bathroom that includes a mud sink. The front of the house has a large, covered patio. Off street parking is provided. The property grounds are well lit at night for your security, and the house has an alarm system for guest use. The house is single story and has one step at the entry door; guest entrance is wider than 32 inches; there is a paved step-free path to the entrance.
PLEASE NOTE: Also available as a separate rental is an adjacent 4 bedroom / 2 bathroom house (this is a separate house on the same property). If you’re interested, please ask the host for availability - this 4 bedroom / 2 bathroom house is rented separately and is not automatically included if you rent this studio house. The fenced pool/patio area is a shared space for these two houses.
Guest access
In addition to the unit which is being rented, guests have access to the outside areas of the property as well as the laundry room. The unit is accessed by key or by a smart lock and the guest will have a key to the laundry room. The back yard and pool area are completely fenced for privacy and have spring-loaded auto-closing/latching gates.
Other things to note
Our property is set in a quiet single family neighborhood with upscale homes. It is a great neighborhood for walks and neighbors are friendly. The property is walking distance to many dining options, a variety of shopping and grocery choices, and a large park with a fishing deck, boat ramp, kids playground, tennis courts and athletic fields). Deerfield beach, the beach boardwalk and Deerfield pier are one mile away (takes about 6 minutes by car).
Boaters and fishing/lobstering enthusiasts…depending on your setup, we may be able to accommodate boat trailer parking for an additional fee…if interested, please inquire before booking. Note that the Pioneer Park boat ramp is about 1/3 mile away and is the closest public ramp to the Boca Raton inlet.
The main campus for Florida Atlantic University (FAU) is close by (about 3 miles away).
TriRail and Brightline train stations are close by which gives you ready access to the tricounty area.
Downtown Boca Raton (with its restaurants, shopping, parks and other attractions) is a mile away.
Ft Lauderdale’s many entertainment options are less than a ½ hour drive away. West Palm Beach is about 40 minutes away and Miami is about 50 minutes away.
