The space
We welcome you to our cozy upstairs cottage carriage home above a garage in the heart of Old Town Lafayette with the convenience of coffee shops and restaurants just hop skip and a jump away AND the peace & quiet of a quaint neighborhood with longtime residents.

You will have safe street parking, a private entrance, outdoor bistro table in a small sweet garden that is fully fenced.

We have excellent complimentary high-speed WIFI.

Our cottage is decorated in Regina's favorite French country farmhouse style: white vintage furniture, her lush large-scale botanical portraits, and all things soft, quiet, and cozy. You will feel instantly at home and ready to curl up with tea and a book on our comfy couch, piles of soft pillows, a Pottery Barn swivel rocker chair, gentle lamp light, large screen TV + soundbar with all the streaming services. Large windows throughout the home provide beautiful natural light.

The kitchen is small and well-equipped with all the basics. We have a refrigerator, oven + electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker + grinder + French press, toaster, pots & pans, and dishes. And soft-close cabinets, of course, for all the highly sensitives out there along with Regina. :)

The bedroom has an extremely comfortable queen-sized Tuft & Needle mattress, new linens, a large antique chair, dresser, and full closet with a iron & ironing board, portable fan, extra pillows and blankets.

Attached to the bedroom is the full bath with a tub/shower (with great water pressure that gets quite hot!). We provide plush towels + organic shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for our guests.

There is a full size washer and dryer on the main floor with organic laundry supplies. There are two flights of stairs (with safety treads) up to the home.

The home is in a very quiet neighborhood and we love to simply open the windows and turn on the ceiling fan for lovely fresh air. We have heat and a mini-split to keep the temperature comfortable all year round.

Sadly we are not able to host kitties due to severe allergies. :(

We welcome (1) well-behaved dog in our carriage home and our policy is that they are never left unattended in or outside of the home, they must be tucked in a cozy crate if left at home for no more than 5 hours. Pet covers MUST be used if they get on the furniture or bedding (there is a fine for pet hair found on either), and all pet waste must be picked up upon guest departure.

Please note that we may have a guest staying in the efficiency studio below the carriage home and you may hear us/ housekeepers coming and going below during your stay. Although each space has their own entrance, the ceiling and walls are thin. We ask all our guests and housekeeping team to tread softly and to be considerate of each other.

Please contact us if you are interested in staying longer than two weeks and we will connect to see if it is a good fit for our little nook in Old Town Lafayette!

Guest access
The carriage house/apartment has a private entrance off the alley. There is a small garden for your private enjoyment. To the front of the carriage house is the main house. You do not share any walls or garden area with the main house. Directly below the carriage house is a garage & studio apartment neither of which share any of your space, garden or entrance.
