You’re 10 minutes from Amish country in Kalona where you can check out the Sale Barn, shop at antique stores, eat cheese curds at Kalona Creamery, and more. Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City is a short 35 minutes away and the Riverside Casino is 15 minutes away.
The space
This is a basement apartment. My husband and I are empty nesters and live upstairs. You will have a large open floor plan with the kitchen, dining area, living room, and office area. There are 2 traditional bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with full-sized bunkbeds. The other bedroom is non-traditional king (no windows). There is also a large bathroom with the double sink separated from the toilet/shower by a door.
Guest access
We have two entrances to our home-both private for you. If you are comfortable walking through our garage, this is the easiest walking option. If you prefer, you can go around the back of the house and use the door that lets you directly into the apartment.

Use of the swimming pool is at the tenants'/guests' own risk. An adult must be present at all times. Tenants and guests must practice reasonable caution when using the pool/hot tub. The host/property manager is in no way responsible for injuries incurred by tenants or guests while using the pool. The Pool is not guaranteed to sustain any constant temperature due to weather and other natural causes. The host/property manager is not responsible for any loss of use that may result from weather, maintenance, or any other circumstance that might deem the pool temporarily unusable. All necessary maintenance/repairs to the pool or spa will be the responsibility of the property owner, except when such repairs are due to negligence or misuse by the guest. The guest will be held responsible for any damage caused to the pool, cleaners, equipment, or surrounding area and charged for the correction of the problem.
