Expansive, daylight basement apt. for short/long term. Central to Loveland, Ft Collins & Greeley or a short trip to the stunning Rocky Mtns. Large rooms for spreading out & relax on new king beds or take in a movie in the private living room. Take advantage of laundry, WiFi, private kitchen with dishwasher & cooking equipment. Local parks & walking paths. In the summer, the 1/2 acre yard to grill or watch beautiful sunsets in. Family friendly for kids & not 420 friendly. Sorry, no dogs.

The space
The apartment has two large bedrooms with generous closet space and new king beds. The entire daylight basement is the garden apartment including a separate living room, dining area, two large bedrooms, kitchen, laundry room and storage.

Guests enter the home through a shared entrance and proceed down the stairs to their private adobe. The backyard, front door, front porch, and if you choose, the upstairs living room is shared.
We love meeting new people and are happy to sit and chat if you want. If not, perfect privacy exists in your own apartment.

The front door entrance and your entrance at the stairs will be coded to a number you choose prior to check in.

Our house is shared by myself, my younger son and my mother. We reside in the west "wing" where we hang in the winter doing crafts, reading, homework and our interests. In the spring and summer you'll find us in the yards planting and tending the the many fruit and flower beds. We go the mountains every chance we get. Some of our family's favorite spots are Grand Lake, Red Feather, Estes Park, Glenwood Springs, Ouray, Manitou Springs, and Pagosa Springs. Anywhere in mountains is a good day!

We do have two small dogs, one (a rescue) likes to bark upon entrance. Please tell JoeJoe "Hi" and toss him some Cheerios located at the front door to make a forever friend. Lily is already your best buddy. Please do not allow the animals into the basement, but do feel free to hang with them upstairs! Please keep the basement door closed at all times and don't allows the animals out the front door. A firm "stay" does the trick!

Guest access
Guests will enter through the main house via the front door using a coded lock, and their apartment is downstairs. Guests, please use the front porch, back porch, back yard and join the hosts in the living room if wanting interaction! As native Coloradoans we love this State and are happy to provide local information and share our love for the mountains! The hosts private spaces are the garage, the west side of the upstairs house through the west hallway.

Other things to note
Not everyone is a dog lover and we can appreciate that. We have two small dogs Lily and Joey. Joey is a chihuahua, which by nature, tend to be skittish. If you want to be his friend, we ask you take a moment and sit on the living room couch and allow him to come to you. Throw some Cheerios to him and you're halfway to be buddies. Lily is already your friend.

Things to note: the hot water is on a Rannai system- a tankless heater. It does take a minute to get the hot water to the sinks and showers. Once, there it does not run out and gets quite hot. You may hear the system quietly running in the locked closet at the bottom of the stairs.

The other locked door holds the furnace and the whole house humidifier, which you may hear humming in the background. The humidifier drains into a floor drain. As a very arid state, most homes in Colorado have one running in the Winter, and some run year round.

Please gather your trash on Tuesday nights (or whenever needed) and text me and I will take it upstairs for Wednesday pick up. We do have a trash service and a recycle pick up as well.

Extra toilet paper, paper towels, bedding and towels are located either in the cabinet in the bathroom, the laundry room or the linen closet. If an item gets stained please let me know and I'll work my magic on it- prior to drying it as this tend to set stains. Please do not strip the beds of the mattress covers. I wash those for every new guest.

Please do not put unnecessary food down the garbage disposal and use the trash for large food items.

Lastly, please do not put any sanitary items in the toilet, including wet wipes. This will incur an additional fee. The trash in the bathroom has multiple extra trash bags and we are always available to empty it as often as requested.
