We were first-time visitors to London for the United States. Some of our observations might just be a difference in realities between hotels in England and the U.S.
We found this property to be very clean, and it felt safe. We were amazed at how quiet the neighborhood was, even with the hotel being a very short walk to two major underground stations.
The room was extremely small, but the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was tiny, and there was a step-up into it, which seemed a potential hazard.
There is not lift (elevator), and the stairwell is very narrow, which made maneuvering luggage a challenge. There are pretty much no amenities at this hotel. The man at the desk was very nice.
All in all, we would perhaps stay here again, with the greatest factors against that being the absence of a lift and the smallness of the room.

Great location. Clean room. Helpful staff. Rooms are small, especially the bathroom. To be expected in central London but worth being prepared for so as to not be surprised. I've seen other reviews about noise. It was very quiet while we were there. Would stay again.
