Only recommend this place if you need a really cheap place to stay for the night and ONLY if you need a place to sleep for a few hours. I can't imagine hanging out in this room outside of sleeping. It felt like a college dorm room or hostel or upscale jail cell. Walls paper thin you can hear every little thing happening from rooms away. The sink has a shelf above it that doesn't allow for you to put your head under the faucet without hitting yourself. The TV, some of my lights and electrical outlets did not work. Contacted staff, no response. I'd recommend staying at the Courtyard Marriot a block away. At least there you know what you are getting.
Hotels this weekend were severely upcharging in Manhattan because of fashion week and the us open. So ended up here which looked decent, had mixed reviews and was within budget for the night. This was fine in a pinch but i'd rather do cookie cutter hotel than a fakey boutique hotel that feels like staying in a jail cell. Beware of the photos they are definitley fake and AI enhanced.

Small, but clean and has everything you need. Ideal particularly for solo travel. Staff is helpful, and they store luggage before and after your stay. Would stay again.
