Not in the best part of town. Extra security has been built in by the hotel, securing all floors and the front desk. Staff was helpful on where it was safest to park. The room was clean, had everything and more that I needed. Either the box spring or mattress squeaked - hard to tell exactly which one it was. Bed was very soft, but fine for the one night I stayed. Friendly staff. I had to go into the bar to get someone at the front desk, but the customer service was very good.

The first room they gave me was dirty, so when i complained to the front desk they gave me another room because "that room wasn't ready yet".
This second room was still dirty, not terrible but the towels and tub had someone's hair in/on it. I complained about this the next morning and they promised they would make sure the room was clean when I got back that evening. They changed the towels and seemed to brush the hair from the tub but no evidence they actually cleaned it.
Checked out that evening since I couldn't trust that they clean properly. Staff was polite, apologetic, and somewhat helpful. Not totally their fault since its the bar staff that have to run the front desk in the evenings. I was given a refund for the remaining nights.
As a young women traveling alone I did not feel comfortable staying there.
