You get what you pay for here and the place doesnt even meet the threshold of cheap and nasty. No TV, no soap provided and toilet paper was rationed. The establishment was run down and on the verge of being grubby. Poor reception service added to the anquish.

I was a little worried about staying here after some of the previous reviews but we had, overall, a very pleasant stay. The staff were very friendly and attended to any issues kindly and readily (our kettle tray stopped working at one point for example). The breakfast was very nice- the fry up was good and you can help yourself to whatever else. Coffee not so great. Hotel needs updating admittedly but it was all we needed for an affordable family trip to London when we were out most of the day.

After booking here we read some reviews right before going and got pretty nervous due to the low starts and negative things people were saying, BUT it was actually really great. The staff was really nice and helpful, helped us with printing our bordingpasses before going to the airport.
The hardest part were the starts up to the room.
Location is absolutely amazing and I would definitely recommend staying here.
