I thought i had already done one of these, but it probably deserves another accolade.
Lovely efficient and welcoming staff, it's owned and very competently personally managed by owner Steve.
We reckon the Mitre is an extraordinarily good find. Amazing small country village side of valley location wonderful visas in every direction. Super cusine all with local produce freshly prepared with panache.
Rooms en suite imited in number but well equipped very clean and comfortable.
Wonderful getaway break, we'll be back for sure.

We only booked the Mitre Inn as it was near to a wedding we were attending but this gorgeous pub with its friendly locals and staff ended up being a highlight in itself! We felt welcomed and looked after from the moment we stepped in. The room, the food, the beer, the decor, the staff, the gardens, all of it was fantastic. We are already planning another stay.
