I booked a room and seen on the website that check in is only up until 7pm but if I was to turn up after that time to contact the hotel and let them know I’m which my key would be left in a secure locked box for me. Well I must of rang the number for the hotel 20 times and got no answer.
When I finally arrived there was an emergency number to call on the door. Well they didn’t answer the 3 times I called it but instead sent me a txt stating reception opening times and that they are unable to answer my call... what kind of emergency number is that when nobody will even answer to help! I had to reply to that txt saying that I was outside and have no where else to stay in which the reply I got was ‘check in is between 2pm and 6pm’ I had to reply again saying I’m stuck with nowhere to go. Finally they replied saying they will send someone... 20 seconds later someone opens the door... so all this time the guy txting me was inside the property and didn’t really want to help until I pretty much begged. What’s the point in offering a late check in option if you don’t answer the bloody phone??? Other than that the room was fine but the first impression and customer service was terrible. I was almost left to just find somewhere else.
