This was my first time staying at this hotel, and overall, my experience was okay. However, there were a few things that could definitely be improved. The coffee machine in the room was not working properly and was not very clean. I also felt that the room was overpriced for the quality and facilities provided. Another major inconvenience was that there was only one microwave available in the entire hotel. For families with babies or anyone who needs to warm up food or milk, having to go downstairs every time is very inconvenient. If microwaves cannot be provided in every room, I would suggest having at least one microwave on each floor. Overall, the stay was okay, but considering the price, I expected better facilities and room quality.

Pros: safe and location to the ferry was great. The view of the sunset, walking to the park, was nice. Within walking distance of most places. Ice machine worked. Smoking free room was nice. The bell to call the front desk worked, and the front desk staff was nice. Late checkin was a plus. We didn't use it but there is a hotel shuttle to shepleys ferry. Cons: no breakfast. It's an older property, so has a musty smell. Expected that. But, the carpet was moist when we walked in...literally soaked my sock while putting down bags, so we wore shoes the whole time while we stayed there, which felt gross after walking around all day. The humidity was very evident, despite it being in the 70s during the day - should have turned on the A/C before we arrived (late evening). Toilet was clogged when we got there, so needed to get a plunger. Left for the day on mac island, and came back to about 20 ants in the bathroom (that we could see)... by morning it was easily double the ants). Had a spider in the bathroom too after we arrived. Ran out of tissue paper. Clearly we got a room that hadn't been rented in while, so we weren't sure it had been cleaned in a while either to walk barefoot on. Heard all the (running) footsteps above us, and could hear trucks on the bridge quite well at night and the neighboring traffic to it. While it worked for 2 nights, I don't see us coming back here again for $125+/n even.
