To celebrate my husband’s birthday we booked a week stay at the Masseria San Francesco & it was the most magical stay in our 15 days in Puglia. The property was absolutely gorgeous, all decked out in lush neutral colours, well appointed furnishings & tasteful decor. The pool was such an added bonus on really warm days, even this October! Having food available onsite meant on days we wanted to stay poolside we didn’t have to leave the property.
You definitely need a car to come here to stay. Savelletri is a small town with a few restaurants that is conveniently located only 10 minutes away.
Masseria San Francesco was an absolute dream! We were actually sad to leave!

Masseria San Francesco is a BEAUTIFUL property! The rooms are amazing and very clean! However, the overall experience was not the best due to the service. When we got there the people at the reception where not very friendly and when I told them that my friend is celiac is seemed like a big deal. They also asked a few times if we wanted to have dinner there but unfortunately they do not really many gluten free options so we decided to go elsewhere. Last but not least the buffet for breakfast is good and has a good variety but they have someone serving you which makes things very slow even when are there are very few people, it would be much better if everyone could just grab what they want. Overall the property is stunning and would definitely recommend it but service needs to be improved!
