We love staying at The Jazz. It is such an intimate boutique hotel where we can relax in an amazing setting. The beds are really comfortable, patios are a great perk and the pool is very well maintained. We like everything about it!!

Good: the overall facility is decent for the price. The lounge has complimentary OJ, snack bars, coffee, creamer, and yogurt so it's easy to grab a quick small breakfast. The room was one with a kitchenette, but, it wasn't fully stocked. There were no drinking glasses only coffee mugs, and service for two, but no sharp knives, cutting board nor microwave. The bed and bedding were comfortable.
The location of the hotel is on the north end of town, but it only took around ten minutes to get downtown for restaurants, etc.
Not so good: The GFCI outlet for the in-room Keurig kept popping off and had to be reset. And, it's kind of unsettling to not have any staff on site. Our room was very hot and we notified through Hotels.com messaging, and the host replied quickly and offered to move us which was nice. There was only one nightstand in the room, the other was a makeshift table that had a top that was loose and only about the size of a salad plate. No outlets on that side of the bed either. The small table in the kitchenette was adequate but wobbly. Another issue was with the spa. It was not well maintained at all. It was full of leaves and cold/unheated the first night. I notified the host, who said it would be turned on, but it was not; that night it remained col.
Overall, I'm not sure we'd stay here again. Not that it was bad, it just wasn't all that great. But it could be so hopefully the host will do some maintenance on the place and get that spa running.

Overall, I had a good stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the amenities were great. I also thought the staffless concept was pretty cool. During the day, I saw the housekeeping staff doing a great job cleaning the vacant rooms, and everything was kept in good condition.
The only downside is that after about 5:00 p.m. there isn’t any staff on-site. That can become an issue if you have loud neighbors or people using the pool after hours. Since the pool is located directly outside every room, any noise carries easily. Unfortunately, during my stay, a group of travelers became heavily intoxicated, played loud music, and made a lot of noise until around 2:00 a.m. With no on-site staff or number to call for assistance, I ended up calling the police, and they handled the situation quickly.
Despite that experience, I would still recommend this place. The property itself is clean, modern, and enjoyable. If they added an after-hours contact or some form of on-site security, it would make the experience even better.
