Staff very friendly and helpful. Not a place to stay if you don't drive as public transport lacks availability. On a busy dual carriageway, bus stop a mile away on return journey. A long walk but doable especially in the summer months

It’s a basic. No lift, bar and boxed breakfast. But option of hot bacon sarni in Greggs.
Choose countryside view room at the back ideally but building is set back a bit from busy A64.
Right on the cycle route to York and good parking space.

Would stay again in a Travelodge , great value .
Given a room key that didn’t work , no remote control for the tv . Booking included breakfast but they clearly said it wasn’t whilst checking in , but great value
