It was exactly what was expected, nothing amazing but nothing at all bad. I would stay again if I was in the area.
Couple of things to note was the blinds came down when I tried to draw them so I had no blind in the morning.
The fan was not great and it means a really hot night. But can’t really complain for the cost and the expectations.
Kettle worked but could have had a cable that disconnected, wasn’t any teaspoons with the coffee and the remote didn’t work well on the tv.
Shower was good
Towels were there

Having stayed at the Angel Townhouse earlier in the year through a different booking platform, I thought I knew what to expect: basic, clean rooms ideal for a short stay.
However, the this time the experience was less than ideal. No hot water available throughout the 2 night stay - a very basic essential that was missing. This was reported however, the message was read & ignored. Judging by the recent reviews this is an ongoing problem that is not being dealt with.
Not an essential issue for us as we did not plan on spending much time in the room, but the WiFi also did not work, despite a few options available, none of them functioned properly. The TV also didn’t work well, no satellite etc & also not connected to the WiFi - so despite being set to a “screen sharing” mode you are unable to use it & unable to access the settings to resolve this.
Having worked in many hotels myself, I know that you cannot resolve an issue you aren’t informed of by the guest. However, to be ignored is disappointing and unacceptable.
