Booked and when I showed up at 4pm no one was there, I called the number and some kid who is the owner answered, told me he would check on the missing staff, then stopped answering the phone.
restaurant next door says guests at hotel 81 are not welcome.. which was very ominous

The reservation was a total screw up/disaster. I arrived and found that the office was locked up at 6:06pm and a sign saying all rooms sold out. No one was there. I called a number for the motel that I found online. The person said that there was no reservation in my name. I gave the itinerary number you supplied. The person continued to say there was no reservation.
I don’t know if a problem was on your end or the motel end. It was a TERRIBLE experience!!!
