Really cool hotel in Old City Philadelphia. Nice rooms. The rooms are small, but they've got what you need to be comfortable. The AC unit struggled to keep the room as cold as the thermostat was set, but it wasn't hot either. The heated bathroom floor was a nice touch and the toilet was awesome! Was pleasantly surprised to find a mini fridge in the room, as that was not noted in the list of amenities.
Let me be clear, there is no elevator or on-site staff. I knew that going in to the stay. It wasn't a problem for me. The hotel staff communicates via text message and was responsive to any questions I had.
I will say Chestnut Street is busy. It's loud. You're in Philadelphia. Expect a city vibe and noise level.
If you are a little self reliant and able to operate a couple of key pads and walk up a few flights of steps this is a wonderful hotel in the heart of Old City. My wife and I will absolutely stay here again. We loved it.
