The space This is not a "hotel alternative" Airbnb listing as there's a 2-week minimum stay and the price is set for longer term renters. Bring your own kitchen essentials, such as oil, coffee, tea or salt. Bring your own soap, shampoo, and personal bath products.
The central heat + a/c are both controlled by the host thru wifi. Message the host if you need the temperature changed and please keep in mind that it's a shared apartment in a house so the temp will be set in response to everybody's requests.
You are responsible for cleaning up after yourself in common areas and for keeping your private room clean while you live here and when you depart. Common areas are cleaned professionally periodically and bedrooms are cleaned after a guest moves out. You still need to clean up after yourself. We add a $60/hour cleaning fee when you move out if necessary. This happens approx 5% of the time.
All listings in the house have a 2 week minimum and at least half the guests have lived here for 2 years so far. This is a co-ed living arrangement for both men and women (most of the time, men). If you're uncomfortable about a mixed gender living arrangement, please do not request to book here. It's not fair to those who live here. They are all kind, respectful, friendly people.
There is no work from home between 9am and 5pm weekdays except when approved by the host prior to check-in in writing through Airbnb messaging.
Guest access You'll have access to your private bedroom. No one will go in there without your permission, except in an emergency. You'll share the aforementioned common areas.
During your stay As the host, I'm at the house every day but I don't live there. I've had 15 listings for 14 years on Airbnb. I provide clean, quiet, safe, budget accommodation for a fair price. My only intention for offering a video is to provide accurate information about the space that you will rent. If you like the space after viewing a video, then we contract back on Airbnb.
