_____________

Welcome to your serene escape on the shores of Lake Champlain. This refreshed 2,700 sq. ft. mid-century home blends timeless architecture with modern comfort—featuring walls of glass, vaulted ceilings, and an airy, convenient floor plan that invites the outdoors in. Most rooms offers breathtaking, unobstructed views across the lake to Vermont’s Green Mountains.

Spacious & Comfortable Living: With four bedrooms and three baths, the home easily accommodates families and groups. (Please note we do not have a bathtub but we do have removable shower heads to clean young kids.) The bunk room is a guest favorite—complete with games, a TV, and creative supplies for hours of fun. A dedicated laundry room with washer and dryer sits just off the kitchen for added convenience.

Unique Character & History: The house is filled with remarkable architectural details: solid cherry paneling, bookcases & cabinets, a marble-floored dining room, a nook with a Grandfather clock, an aged brick hearth, and a loft supported by historic chapel timbers.

The living room features a large Frame TV that doubles as artwork, and in the music room you’ll find curated prints depicting key moments in local history, including the Battles of Plattsburgh and Valcour. Even the fireplace mantle has a story—it comes from the Royal Savage, a vessel from the Battle of Valcour.

Designed for Gathering: The dining room comfortably seats ten, with an additional table available to extend seating up to sixteen—perfect for holiday meals or post-wedding gatherings. The fully stocked kitchen includes a wide array of cookware, serving dishes, and utensils to make hosting easy.

Waterfront Lifestyle: With 200 feet of shoreline, this property offers one of the most extraordinary views on Lake Champlain. A nearby marina and boat launch—less than a mile away—makes it simple to keep a boat during your stay. Whether sipping morning coffee overlooking the lake, relaxing with a cocktail during the 'pink hour', or enjoying sunset dinners, the setting is unforgettable.

Convenient & Comfortable Touches: You’ll find thoughtfully placed workspaces, bedside outlets, and newly updated features throughout the home—new windows, doors, flooring, and a fully refreshed interior designed for ease and comfort.

Located just minutes from the Valcour Inn and Boathouse, this home is ideal for families attending weddings and celebrations, or anyone seeking a peaceful, beautifully-appointed getaway on the lake.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire property except the basement, garage and outbuildings.

Other things to note
WIND: Lake Champlain is the sixth largest lake after the Great Lakes and as such it can we quite windy and wavy. This can be exciting and invigorating but it can also be chilly with ocean-like waves. We cannot control Mother Nature.

DOCK: The dock can be used for day dockage only. Because of the exposure to the broad lake, winds can kick up unexpectedly so it is highly discouraged to keep your boat tied to the dock overnight. There is a marina within a mile that offers transient overnight dockage and a launch ramp within a half a mile.

BEACH: Water shoes are recommended for use on the beach as the beach is rocky and not sandy.

BATHTUB: Please note that while the home does not have a bathtub, each shower is equipped with a removable handheld shower head—perfect for easily rinsing off young children.
