Five minutes on foot from UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital, this is a fully self-contained basement apartment with a dedicated office, in-unit laundry, and a large fenced backyard. The unit has everything you need for a longer assignment -- a real bed, a real workspace, and a quiet place to land after a long shift. The access and layout are straightforward, and we lay it all out in detail so you know exactly what to expect before you arrive.
The space
Bedroom
A quiet, properly dark bedroom with a queen bed and blackout curtains. Standard closet with hanging space. Being below grade keeps the room naturally cool and insulated from street noise -- useful if you're working nights or variable shifts.
Bathroom
Full bathroom with a tub/shower combo and single vanity. Stocked with towels and the basics for your stay.
Office
A dedicated room with a desk, chair, and strong WiFi -- separate from the bedroom and living area so you can keep work and rest in different spaces. There's also a sleeper futon in here, which works well if you occasionally have a visitor or just want a flex space.
Kitchen
Full-size fridge, dishwasher, induction cooktop, and a toaster oven. No conventional oven -- worth knowing if that factors into how you cook. Everything else you'd need for daily meals is stocked and ready.
Laundry
Full-size washer and dryer in the unit. On a longer assignment, this matters more than most amenities.
Backyard
The unit has direct access to a large, fully fenced backyard. It's a real outdoor space -- good for getting outside without getting in the car.
Parking
One dedicated spot on the private driveway is included with your stay.
Guest access
You'll enter through the garage via a private access code. Once inside, head straight down the stairs to the basement apartment -- that's your space for the duration of your stay.
A quick note on the layout, because we'd rather be upfront about it: there's no door or wall separating the stairwell from the main level of the home. You'll pass through the garage entry and go directly downstairs -- it's a natural, straightforward path, but it's not a fully enclosed private corridor. Kay lives on the main level above.
To access the backyard, you'll head back up the stairs, out through the garage, and around to the back of the home. It's a simple route once you know it.
The basement itself is entirely yours -- bedroom, bathroom, office, kitchen, and laundry. Everything you need is down there, and your day-to-day routine won't require going upstairs at any point.
