Relax with the whole family at the Sassy Sister. This is a unique property on Lake Bruin. Truly a cabin on the lake with an updated interior inside that can sleep up to 10 people. The pier is big enough for the whole family to enjoy life on the lake!
The space
There are 3 bedrooms downstairs and 1 bedroom upstairs.
The upstairs bedroom is a loft style with a double set of bunk beds and a large TV with a Playstation for the kids to enjoy when they need a break from the lake!
The 1st bedroom downstairs has two queen beds.
The 2nd bedroom downstairs features a comfy queen bed.
The 3rd bedroom downstairs has a large king size bed.
There are two full bathrooms downstairs. Both bathrooms have showers only. One of the great things is for large families...we have a tankless hot water heater so never worry about running out of hot water!
The kitchen features an island with 4 bar stools and a dining table to seat 8. The stove and oven are gas. The coffee maker can handle the individual K cups or if you want to brew a big pot of coffee for the whole family to sip on...we have you taken care of! Microwave and small airfryer available. Standard fridge. Note - the freezer does not include an ice maker so do not forget to bring a bag!
Common living area has a little nook by the front door that is great for a place to curl up and read that good book you have been meaning to get to. There is also a sectional sofa that is a good spot to watch the football game!
On the patio there are double fans to make sure you are never missing a breeze as you watch sunset on the porch swing. You can relax in the rocking chairs as you watch the kids play on the giant connect four game or set up the corn hole game in the yard. There is a charcoal grill right by the patio that is available to throw a steak since everyone will be famished from playing in the sun all day!
The lake is really why we are here and this is the perfect place to enjoy it- over 100 feet of lake front and a great pier to use. The front of the pier is made for bringing your floats and letting the kids keep cool in the water. The pier is has cleats for tying off your boat so you can hop right on or off all day! Eat dinner on the pier, take a nap in the hammock or lounge on the out door chairs and catch up on visiting and making memories with friends and family.
