The space
Studio Aerie is a 450+ square foot open studio space above a garage and next door (but separate) to the main home. It is in a very quiet but convenient location, one of the prettiest neighborhoods in Wilmington—convenient to downtown (7 minute drive) and Wrightsville Beach (20 minute drive).
The queen bed features a comfortable premium mattress. All linens are provided for stays under 3 weeks.
The kitchenette includes a medium size refrigerator with small freezer, 4 burner ceramic cooktop, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, coffee maker, and full size sink. All kitchenware, utensils and dishes are provided. There is also an apartment size washer and dryer.
The small private bathroom has a fully tiled shower, sink with marble topped vanity, storage medicine cabinet, and toilet.
In the living area is a sofa that doubles as a futon, easy chair and smart television with Internet access. Stream movies through your streaming provider, or use the antenna to get local channels. A stand-alone router provides a strong and extremely fast WiFi internet access.
The large outdoor deck overlooks a beautiful garden and is surrounded by a tree canopy.

*For bookings over 3 weeks in length, a biweekly cleaning service is provided to keep the unit in good condition. The price is built into your fee. This does not include washing your own linens and towels*

Parking area is off the main driveway and close to the private boardwalk which takes you to the stairs, accessing a large tropical hardwood deck sitting shaded by a beautiful tree canopy.
Check in time is after 3pm and check out is 11am.

Other things to note
There is a staircase of 14 steps to get to the deck, so it is NOT handicap accessible.
A note about taxes and fees so there are no surprises:
Accommodation Taxes
The City of Wilmington and County of New Hanover require a 6% Accommodation Tax on all vacation rentals, which is collected from renters and paid to the City and County each month. A portion of this tax goes to beach nourishment projects to help keep County beaches beautiful and stable. These will be listed as Occupancy Taxes.
