The space
You will have the whole place to yourself. The studio renovation, designed and built by a local artist/woodworker is one room with exposed stone walls, heated floors, high ceilings and two windows overlooking a slate patio garden which guests are welcome to use. A small double futon bed with a feather bed topper sleeps 1 with ample room. Can be folded up into a leather couch during the day. There is an additional comfy chair for reading or relaxing. A bar and stool sit at the back of the space and is perfect for working on your laptop or enjoying your morning coffee. We recommend you visit High Point Cafe to pick up fresh baked goodies to go with your morning java. We provide a mini-fridge, microwave, toaster oven, small portable cooktop, pots and pans, dishes, plates and glasses. This studio is perfect for anyone looking to get away, as well as the business traveler, visiting artist or professor and especially the outdoor lover. We are located next to The Wissahickon Park. Please note, for an additional $10 per 2 weeks we will provide a change of sheets and towels and room cleaning.

Guest access
Guests will have the entire studio to themselves and are free to sit and use the patio area. Occasionally the patio is shared with the us.

Other things to note
We have 2 dogs, one small and one large, who may bark to announce your arrival on the property, but they are never left unattended outside in the yard. Our hope is to provide a place for quiet enjoyment and there are no parties or smoking on the premises (inside or out) Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
