If you’d like to walk after long hours of driving, to have good sleeps after hours of hard work, a secluded getaway, to have a time for bird or native plants observation, to boost your immune system or simply have a relaxing time to read a book, this is the place for you!

It is only 10 min. from I-95, 20 from downtown Fayetteville and the hospital and 5 from groceries, pharmacy, ATM, gas station/convenience stores, and takeout food.

Includes a private walking trail, a grill and fire pit area.

The space
This is a compact studio (like a tiny house) with all you need. It is separated from the main house and it has a semi-private patio to enjoy sitting outdoors.

In addition to the mentioned amenities it has good storage; a comfortable dining table that can be used as office desk; and a cozy chair that doubles as lounge where you can enjoy a sunny window.

You have also access to the Mediterranean court for grilling, dining and enjoying the fire pit. This is a shared space with us and other guests.

The studio has access to a 8 acres of private forest with a 2/3-mile loop trail to enjoy the native wood land of the Sandhills or to make your daily walk in nature.

The property has chickens and waterfowl, a greenhouse, and gardens with a combination of flowers (attractive to the pollinators), native plants, fruits and herbs, predominant in the warm months.

As one of our sustainable practices, the bathroom has an electrical, waterless toilet, the Villa model by Separett.

Guest access
The last quarter of a mile is a private dirt road.
The studio is away from the road and offers free parking for two vehicles. It is in the property and about 40 feet away from the studio.
If you want to walk the trail in the private forest, guests will be provided with a trail map.

Other things to note
A free weekly load of laundry is available for longer-stay guests.

The system that heats the studio water might be affected by cold weather in winter, which means you might have only warm water.

There is not cameras or devices inside the studio, The unit is private and is not shared with any other person.

This is the perfect place to be in contact with nature and to nourish your soul, your mind and your body.

We recycle, we compost and we try to do things in a way that lessens the impact on the environment.

We avoid using chemicals or detergents and fresheners that use carcinogen smells.
